Simply Roasted Asparagus

Tasty side dishes

Serves 4 as a side dish 
  • 300 – 400g of asparagus
  • 2 tbl spoons of olive oil 
  • Salt and freshly ground black peeper
  • Juice of 1 lemon 
  • Remove any hard woody ends from the asparagus
  • Coat asparagus in the olive oil and sprinkle on the salt and pepper
  • Cook in a suitable roasting tray / pan or grilling basket for 5 – 8 mins turning regularly
  • Sprinkle with the lemon juice and season to taste
